Consistory records of a Church offer a lot of information. They unveil the social, religious or political organization of a church or community as well as the intimate life of their members. Preachers’ biographies, baptismal certificates, marriages and burials are all described in these records. This study focuses on the following two records. One in Frankenthal (1658-1689) and one in Otterberg (1659-1689).
